Password Keeper / Self-paced onboarding

Free self-paced onboarding

Learn the first steps of Keeper on your own schedule.

Free self-paced onboarding is one of the three ways ZATIS helps people get started with Keeper Password Manager.

Start here

Follow Keeper’s official quick start guide.

Keeper publishes free, step-by-step guides for every part of getting started. We have linked the right one for each step below, in the order we recommend. Each link opens Keeper’s documentation in a new tab.

Step by step

Six first steps, at your own pace.

Work through them in order. Each card links to Keeper’s own guide for that step.

1. Set up your vault

Log in, create a strong master password, and set up account recovery so you can never be locked out.

2. Install on your devices

Add the KeeperFill browser extension and the phone app so your passwords are there when you need them.

3. Turn on two-factor

Add a second verification step to your vault so a stolen master password alone is not enough.

4. Move your passwords in

Bring passwords out of your browser, spreadsheets and sticky notes, then turn off the browser’s own password saving.

5. Share securely

Give a teammate access to a login without ever sending the password by text or email.

6. Build the habit

Let KeeperFill fill your logins every day, and use it to replace weak or reused passwords as you go.

Guides are published and maintained by Keeper Security on docs.keeper.io. Keeper is a trademark of Keeper Security, Inc.
